MYKONOS AND THE AREA OF ELIA
Part of the Cyclades group of islands, located at the center of the Aegean Sea, between Delos and Tinos, Mykonos is undeniably one of the most (if not the most) popular islands of Greece, world- renowned for its amazing beaches, sparkling Mediterranean waters, tasty Greek cuisine, excellent tourist facilities, shops of ultimate luxury and cosmopolitan life.
It is the favorite destination of the VIPs of the whole planet because it offers high-quality entertainment, extraordinary sight-seeing opportunities, unique architectural culture, award winning restaurants and magic beaches.
Stroll around its narrow marble streets and admire whitewashed Mykonos villas with colorful doors and window frames, bougainvillea trees in purple bloom and hidden churches that can reveal aspects of the history of the place and the culture of the people.
In the southern part of the island lies the area of Elia, which is best known for its beautiful beach with golden sand and clear blue waters. It is located 8 km away from the Center (the so-called Chora) and only 2 km away from Ano Mera, the unique mountainous village of Mykonos, which is famous for its authentic Cycladic figure and its traditional taverns.
